Must be a new deviation created specially by you! No submitting of old/previously submitted works and no submitting works not created by you the artist.
Provide a link in the artist comments of what movie(s) you have chosen to feature! (you can use a wiki, google, yahoo, bing, etc link)
You must describe the contents of your bento within your artist comments. Just a brief description will do.
Must contain a person/place/thing from the movie you are featuring and must be the main feature (If you are not sure please note me! I will decide whether it is an accepted idea or not.)
Must use more then 2 colors. More colors the better.
You may use cut outs however not as the main feature. It may compliment or be added on as an additional decorative piece.
Only Photography of your homemade bento.
Preferred if Bento box is used BUT if you do not own one you may use a rectangular tupperware.
You may have ONE Hayao Miyazaki toy displayed in the bento photo. However it must not distract from the main feature which is your bento. This toy must be approved first by the founder! (Please send NOTE for Approval)
Only one submission per entry.
Must be a member to join the contest.

Timeline for this contest will be from November 4th to January 31st! No Extension will be given. This is a 3 month long contest spanning over the Holidays so there should be PLENTY of time to get at least one bento completed. Judging will be based on craftsmanship, organization, attractiveness, effort, colors, thoughtfulness and more.

Craftsmanship (how you create your work and the types of foods/materials you’ve used)
Organization (how you placed/arranged your bento. If it looks Planned out or not)
Attractiveness (Is it neat and clean? Does it look good enough to eat??)
Effort (Does it look like you put a lot of thought and effort in?)
Colors (Does it use the 5 main colors used for nutrition? Black, What, Green, Red, Yellow)
Thoughtfulness (Did something unique or found a organic solution.)

As stated before the Contest is a EVOLVING contest! Meaning depending on the amount of participant receive the contest will either gain more winning places… OR… More prizes will be added to current winning places! (It all depends on my funds folks, everything right out of my own pocket.) Currently there are 3 winning places. For the contest to survive there must be AT LEAST 5 entries submitted. For the Contest to EVOLVE, the next evolution will occur after 7 entries submitted! So if you want more prizes come and join!

ALSO! Winners from previous contests will now be stated at the bottom of the contest page! Those that have won Bento prizes before may not win Bento prizes again for one year! (However you may still join contests and win OTHER prizes!) This is to give other people a chance on winning bento boxes. It wouldn’t be fair if you kept winning bento boxes all the time while someone else who doesn’t even own a bento never wins. I will be keeping track of them on and off the site. If you happen to have one a bento box before and have won a winning place again an alternate prize will be provided for you.

All three winning places will receive a form of Bento box. They have yet to be purchased and further details will be provided soon.
